4th ANNUAL RACING TO RECOVERY GOLF TOURNAMENT (11/2) and KARTING EVENT (11/1)
Monday, November 2, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada

The Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation will hold its 4th Annual Racing To RecoveRevere Golf Club, Lexington Coursery Golf Tournament on Monday, November 2, 2009 at the Revere Golf Club’s Lexington Course in Henderson, Nevada.

Golf Digest “Best Places to Play,” Golf Digest Magazine

The Revere presents a blend of beauty and challenge unlike any other in southern Nevada.  Dipped through the rugged desert canyons and valleys of the Las Vegas foothills, the Revere Golf Club offers unending, awe-inspiring views of the Las Vegas Skyline and mountains beyond.  The Lexington’s stunning 7,143 yard, par 72 layout will test any golfer’s shot-making capabilities with classic risk/reward scenarios.

The fee for an individual golfer is $500 and there is a range of sponsorships available.

A limited number of rooms are available at a reduced rate Sunday and Monday nights for Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation supporters at South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.  To make your hotel reservation, call South Point at 866-791-7626 and mention SSPF for the reduced rate.

All sponsors and their teams are also invited to join us on Sunday evening, Nov. 1, 6-9 pm at Pole Position Raceway in Las Vegas for a fun-filled evening of indoor karting on a ¼ mile euro-style road course, silent and live auctions, and refreshments.  Foursomes will complete in head-to-head racing to determine an overall winner for golf and karting.  (For individuals not participating in the golf outing, there is a charge of $150 for the Sunday evening event.)

For further information on the 4th Annual Racing to Recovery Golf Tournament or the karting event, contact Melanie Johnstone at 317-236-9999 or email mjohnstone@samschmidt.org.
